Whoa

Whoa. It's been over a year since I've looked at this thing. Crazy how life happens and you out things on the back burner. I was having fun chronicling our lives.

It's 12:15am and Rosalie's been up screaming 4 times and gabby woke up 15 minutes ago and started screaming as soon as I left the room. I'm apparently in for a late night. May as well blog, right?

I was talking to a friend today about how I'm already forgetting milestones and important events from the girls' lives. Unacceptable.

So, here's an update. Rosalie first since she's the oldest. That's how that goes, right?

Stats are from her 3yr visit in April.
Heigh: 39.5in
Weight: 35lb

She potty trained right around her birthday. A month or so before if memory serves correctly. (See? Already!) She's talking like crazy, knows her shapes, what sounds all the animals make, numbers and colors are hit or miss. Is she color blind? Knows a few letters and can draw X's and O's. Sometimes I feel like she's behind but I'm sure she's average. Average is okay. She's hilarious, imaginative, sweet, loves to read and overall well-behaved. Her hair has grown tremendously and she still has those amazing eyes and eye lashes. Everyone is her "friend" and she is far from shy. Though, she's a little more reserved recently. She is excited for school in the fall and loves animals, especially her AuntMissy's  dog Doogie. She enjoys watching baseball with daddy and her favorite movies are Brave and Frozen. She recently moved to a toddler bed, too with a frozen pillowcase made by mommy. She loves having magic shoes and rough housing with daddy. She loves her Gigi and bobo and enjoys spending time with them. She always seems to be ornery when we FaceTime with her Nano and Bryan (he doesn't have a name yet). She's gotten more adventurous and will go down the big slide at the playground. Her favorite foods are blueberries, corn on the cob and pasta. She also loves "juice" (mommys carbonated flavored water) and chicken nuggets. She'll even eat spicy foods! It's hard thinking of a food she doesn't like! She still snuggles with Lamby and has a binky at bedtimes. (That could be a battle!)

Gabby:
Stats from April
Height: 31.5in
Weigh: 24lb 2oz

Gabby is quite the talker! She chatters all day long, her name truly suits her. I enjoy having these fun conversations with her. She loves to color, read and snuggle. She's working on her colors and knows a few numbers out of order. She loves playing with play doh and eating it. She hates dogs but loves cats and is slowly warming up to dogs. Her favorite color is purple. The kid LOVES purple everything. Her favorite foods are any type of bread, yogurt and blue berries. There isn't much she doesn't like so far but she isn't much for spicy stuff. She enjoys being outside but not for long and my without mom or dad. She's not such a mommys girl now. She's been doing so so well with other people! I'm so proud of her! She's taken on calling everyone friends like Rosalie does. She speaks in clear phrases. Her favorite right now is to tell us she farted then says excuse me. She finally has a lovey, Ellie the elephant. She also has recently started using a binky at night. I think that helped her wean from breastfeeding. She enjoys going to Gigi and bobos house and showing off for her Nano on FaceTime. She also loves babies (real and pretend) an dressing up.

I continue to sew and work. Sewing is way more fun! Mike works his butt off for us and I couldn't be more proud to call him my husband. I can't believe it will be five years in October.
